Its all my perspective and thats why it’s definitely my cornucopia, from right here in my hometown of Nairobi, Kenya that is! I tend to express my emotions in prose when my emotions are heightened, but at most times I want to delve deeper into issues the society perceives at face value, from different angles… The architectural and built world, myths, ideology, current affairs, artistic expressionism…  I don’t just ask the why but what’s behind it all, whats going on backstage. From the blog you will see I have a passion for architecture and rightly so as that is what I do for a living, but I spice it all up with ‘nitties and gritties’. Have a read and tell me what you think…

  1. Please add me to your mailing list. I enjoyed your historical look at the Green City in the Sun. Signed, A Fellow Resident.

  2. I have almost zero clue about most architecture of Kenyan important places, but you cant blame, me can you? I know its sounds a little bit out of touch! I appreciate the piece and much more to come and as a fellow artist I wish to bring to your attention some other worlds works am sure would be piece of interest to the audience as well. i am just wondering, what it takes to contribute in your blog!

  3. Hello Nate!

Found your blog in the course of some research and I really like it! Tweeted that I learnt a new word (cornucopia) and I’m mighty impressed with all your storytelling about Kenya. Well done! Who else would shout about the greatness of their country than a citizen!

I’m based in England but I’m sure when I’m ready to visit Kenya I’ve got my tour guide (pretty please) already!

    Take care!

    • Hi Rupi, sorry for the late reply. I’ve been terrible with catching up with a lot of stuff online but I’ll do better. It would be great. Feel free to email natescrest[at]gmail[dot]com
